I was recently having dinner with a friend when the topic of conversation quickly veered towards shoes. (This often happens.) Particularly, our shoe buying habits. I will be the first to admit that I shamelessly invest substantial amounts of money into my shoe collection which consists mostly of the high heeled variety. I strongly believe that a better quality of shoe will provide a better fit and better support for your feet. After all, the foot contains more bones than any other single part of the body making them vital to your daily mobility. In my opinion, a poorly constructed stiletto is a sure way to a painful situation. So, when it comes to acquiring new footwear, I practice a quality over quantity philosophy. Consider how necessary our feet are to our everyday existence. It only makes sense that one would take care to keep their feet and shoes in their best condition. If your feet are unwell, how far do you think you will go? Chances are you're not going to leave your house barefoot.

It's fall in New York City and the air is now a little crisp, but that hardly stopped me from wearing a cute dress. Enter my STELLA MCCARTNEY snake jacquard tunic from 2014 Resort; It was look number 2. The dress features a narrow v neck and wide skirt with pockets. (Dresses with pockets are just so perfect...) This snake print featured heavily in the collection paired with florals and satins. For inspiration MCCARTNEY said that she was "looking at the type of woman who would have a snake tattoo". While I'm not opposed to tattoos, I think I'll skip the inked serpent and stick to the silk and cotton jacquard variety.

I absolutely love white for the summer because it just feels so fresh and crisp. Shirt dresses can be tricky because often they lack shape, but this one features princess seaming and gathering around the waist. Conveniently, the bike came with a front basket that was perfect for holding my FENDI 2JOURS or any other sizable handbag I might be carrying. Now I wouldn't necessarily recommend wearing 5 inch heels to go for a bike ride, however my GUCCI PLATFORMS with 3 ankle straps looked so good with the frock, I just couldn't resist. The Iman sandal is from their Spring Summer 2010 collection and their acquisition is a story for another day...
